The Yale Building
460 Twelfth Avenue

The international headquarters and home to the Yale Trucking Company for many decades, the Yale Building is one of New York's most recognizable and well known properties.  Situated near the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, caravans of trucks could be seen pulling in and out of the building at all hours of the day and night for many years prior to the operation being closed.  Upon the ceasing of trucking operations at the building, it was sold for its real estate value, its development potential and its close proximity to the New York State Convention Center located nearby along 11th Avenue in Manhattan.

Epstein Engineering was retained to prepare Plans and Specifications for the exterior repairwork performed at the Yale Building.  Brick and concrete repairs were performed throughout the property and steel repair was also performed at select locations where needed.  The white glazed brick needed and received special attention.  Epstein Engineering also performed Local Law 10 Facade Inspection for the building.

The Constructions Cost was $800,000.
